Our Story
How Vivian and Danny Met...
Vivian and Danny both started attending the Montreal Catholic Chinese School when they were 4 years old (not by choice!)
Every Saturday, they would see each other for a few hours, where they learned to read, write and speak Cantonese.
Vivian was the girl who took school for her personal playground, especially during recess. She would find opportunities to run around with her cousin in the corridor as well as in between desks.
Danny was calmer, and was definitely judging Vivian from time to time while sipping on some soda and eating his bag of chips.
From classmates to best friends
After a few years at MCCS, most of the classmates became acquainted and small groups started to form.
The older ones stuck together, while Vivian and Danny created friendships with people of their age.
After school, they would hang out around Chinatown. However, Vivian couldn't join because she had to help in the family-owned restaurant back in St-Jérôme.
They would still find time to hang out together during the year, sometimes at L2 Bubble Tea Lounge or when Vivian would host house parties at her house. Often, it also implied that Danny would be the cook!
Graduating from MCCS
Fourteen years after they first met, where Vivian and Danny went through three kindergarten years and eleven regular years, it was finally time for graduation at MCCS. Most of the classmates had at this point known each other for many years. The excitement of joy was there, as we all knew our Saturdays would now be free!
But there was also some sadness in all of it...
Sometimes, graduating from school is also synonym of losing contact with ones you had connections with. It's about not seeing the ones you were used to see all these years every single Saturday.
Who knew what would happen between Vivian and Danny? Would they lose contact? Would they still see each other?

Their first time traveling together
Vivian and Danny, along with their then-partners, traveled together for the first time outside of Canada as Danny celebrated his 21st birthday.
They visited the New York City a.k.a. The Big Apple.
Seems like Vivian already tried to kiss Danny back then! (She rolled her eyes when she read that)
2016, the year where all things changed
After college (CEGEP for the Frenchies), they both attended the same university, allowing then to see each other every other day.
That summer, Vivian started working at the same place as Danny.
They saw each other on a daily basis.
They also chased Pokémon around downtown at any time of the day.
They binge-watched The 100 together.
They were always together.
They got together.
The rest is history
In 2019, Vivian and Danny decided to move in together and bought a house in the suburbs. Their family also grew, with the arrival of Kobe, their first of two Shina Inus.
In 2021, Vivian and Danny got engaged in Niagara Falls, the exact same place where they had started dating five years ago.
In 2023, they welcomed Yumi to their home.
In 2025, Vivian and Danny will pronounce the ultimate words. They wish to say "I do" with the presence of their family and closest friends.
